            Portrait

            Who is Eva Corinne Kiefer?
As a trained event & project manager – with a strong global sensibility –, I guarantee you professionally organized and memorable events.

My love for the diversification of this profession shows in a reputable, analytical method of working, timely delivery, fluency in several languages and a love for people and different cultures.

The many exciting challenges of my professional life are balanced by my passion for wildlife photography. I extensively travel Africa to capture unique wildlife moments up close. Aside from that, I greatly enjoy a variety of sports and always strive to excel my cooking and sewing.

My professional development has allowed me to gain experiences in several different industries and various parts of Switzerland and abroad. A particular highlight has most certainly been a three years stint in South Africa, where I was able to bring my English knowledge to perfection. Upon returning to Switzerland I took on a new challenge with Swiss Re. After a period of working in the reinsurance core business, I moved on to organizing and executing the company's art installations in London and New York. I was also charged with the realization of Swiss Re's Corporate Architecture book, a project I took great pleasure in. During that time, working in "Swiss Re Brand Communication & Public Affairs", I gained solid experience as a project manager and, at the same time, studied to become a Public Relation Manager. Since the summer of 2006, I have been specializing in event management.

Due to my extensive international experience, I have decided to turn my passion in "project and event management" into a company that caters to the needs of its clients with care and professionalism.

              Rwanda – a phoenix rising
Where is your favourite place in Africa? Botswana, Zambia, The Cape in South Africa? Why not Rwanda? Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Rwanda has achieved astonishing economical development after the 1994 genocide that had crippled the country in a devastating way. It is a clean – plastic bags are forbidden – and prospering country. The ever increasing economy is a role model for other African states. It is also considered the “Silicon Valley” of Africa. Most African Apps are nowadays being programmed in Kigali (spoken Kiga”r”i) and the well-educated youth promise much more to come. The country is, contrary to most of its neighbours, a safe country. There is hardly another African capital where you can walk in the dark to dinner without having to fear mugging or worse. Last but not least, Rwanda is famous for its mountain gorillas. These gentle giants can be visited by enthusiastic tourists for an hour each day. Mind you, it is a steep and rather long hike to get to see them. When you finally do, it is just awesome! e-c-k.ch, eck-intensive Mountain Gorilla, Rwanda, Virunga What a pleasure and wonder to discover and experience these lovely creatures. Literally sitting in their own salad bowl munching away on wild celery, nettles and other forest delicacies. Sadly, poaching is still a real thread and the gorilla families have to be patrolled and monitored constantly. Try and go to see them! You’ll support the protection project. Besides, Rwanda is a country not to be missed! With best regards Eva Corinne Kiefer

              Scotland – land of contrasts!
The secret and mystic landscapes enthral and invite you to dream of the countries’ eventful past. The ideal stage for famous blockbusters such as Braveheart, Rob Roy, Outlander and Harry Potter. It is almost natural to follow in its footsteps to discover the beautiful lochs, castles, forts and mystical highlands. But Scotland is also birthplace of finest single malt whisky and cradle of golf. No wonder it holds the highest density of whisky distilleries and countless golf courses that invite to play. Part of Great Britain, Scotland takes up one third of the United Kingdom. Many Scots – however – do not feel they belong. A glance onto its eventful past shows how deeply rooted their wish for independence remains to date. Enjoy discovering Scotlands‘ unique landscape. Yours

                    General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

New data protection law in Switzerland from September 1st 2023

The totally revised Data Protection Act (DPA) and the implementing provisions in the new Data Protection Ordinance (DPO) and the new Ordinance on Data Protection Certifications (DPC) came into force in Switzerland on 1 September 2023.

The totally revised FADP and the corresponding provisions in the ordinances will ensure better protection of personal data in the future. In particular, data protection is adapted to technological developments, self-determination over personal data is strengthened and transparency in the procurement of personal data is increased.

General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR)

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU) has been in force since 25 May 2018. It may be directly applicable to actors operating on the territory of the EU and Switzerland. The new rules give citizens more control over their personal data and the GDPR increases the responsibility of companies, while at the same time reducing their reporting obligations. The role of data protection authorities will also be strengthened.
