New data protection law in Switzerland from September 1st 2023
The totally revised Data Protection Act (DPA) and the implementing provisions in the new Data Protection Ordinance (DPO) and the new Ordinance on Data Protection Certifications (DPC) came into force in Switzerland on 1 September 2023.
The totally revised FADP and the corresponding provisions in the ordinances will ensure better protection of personal data in the future. In particular, data protection is adapted to technological developments, self-determination over personal data is strengthened and transparency in the procurement of personal data is increased.
General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR)
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU) has been in force since 25 May 2018. It may be directly applicable to actors operating on the territory of the EU and Switzerland. The new rules give citizens more control over their personal data and the GDPR increases the responsibility of companies, while at the same time reducing their reporting obligations. The role of data protection authorities will also be strengthened.
Data protection provisions
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (e. g. name, address or e-mail address) are collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e. g. communication by e-mail) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
The use of contact data published as part of the imprint obligation by third parties to send unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly prohibited. At the time the message is sent, the IP address, browser details and the date and time of registration are also determined.
The processing of personal data from the input mask serves us solely to process the establishment of contact. The other data processed during the transmission process serves to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our IT systems.
You have the option to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.
Visitor analysis system
This website uses its own anonymised analysis system of visitor behaviour (homepage monitoring) in order to adapt and optimise the offer for the user. Data about the visited page, IP address, browser details and date and time are collected using cookies and stored for analysis purposes.
Personal information such as names, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses cannot be collected by the system, therefore such personal information is not stored by the system. The stored analysis data are anonymized and therefore cannot be revoked.
